

Everett “Jack” Kibler Jr, of Sparta, NJ passed away on December 19, 2016. Jack was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science degree. Jack was a proud member of the United States Army serving in Korea. In 1977 after 37 years working for Westinghouse as an engineering manager Jack moved to the Lake Mohawk section of Sparta. He volunteered for the Vita program in Sussex County; helping seniors file their taxes. Jack was an avid fisherman and was a member of the Flatrock Hunting and Fishing Club in Lockhaven, PA. He is survived by his life partner Renee Ferguson; brother of Marie Gaertner of Pittsburgh, PA and Lewis Kibler MD and his wife Priscilla of Keene, New Hampshire. A funeral service will be held 11am Thursday, December 22, 2016, at the Sparta First Presbyterian Church, 32 Main St, Sparta, NJ 07871. Entombment with US Army Military Honors will follow the church service in the Sparta First Presbyterian Church’s urn garden. The Goble Funeral Home, Sparta is in charge of arrangements.
