Frances E. Metoski, 82, of Sparta, NJ passed away peacefully on June 1, 2015. Fran was born in Neptune City, NJ and lived in Butler for many years before moving to Sparta in 2004. She worked as a crossing guard in Butler and in the school cafeterias in the Wayne and Kinnelon public school systems. Fran was a member of the Columbiettes, #943, in Butler, was a loving mother and grandmother. She is predeceased by her husband John J. Metoski and her son Michael. Frances is survived by her beloved daughter Mara Soules and her husband John; loving grandchildren Holly and Alexander; niece Karen Koch and her brothers: Thomas and Howard Dombrowski. Private services were held under the direction of the Goble Funeral Home, Sparta. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to the American Red Cross.
