Gary Robert Rutkowski

Gary Robert Rutkowski, 65, of Oak Ridge, New Jersey passed away on March 23, 2017 at St. Clare’s Medical Center, Dover, NJ. Gary was born in Jersey City, NJ; grew up in Middlesex, NJ and lived in Morristown before moving to Oak Ridge 13 years ago. He was a lover of antiques and animals. Gary brought joy and laughter to everyone he met and he lived by the motto, “Life is too important to be taken seriously”. Gary is predeceased by his beloved mother Maryanne Wozniak and his brother James. He is survived by his father Walter J. Rutkowski; his partner of 38 years Eric Winkelman; his devoted brothers and sisters: Walter Thomas Rutkowski, Kenneth Rutkowski, Robert Rutkowski, Richard Rutkowski, William Rutkowski, Mark Rutkowski, Maryanne Mercurio, John Joseph Rutkowski, Denise LaViola, Joseph Rutkowski and many nieces, nephews, and many grand nieces and nephews. The Goble Funeral Home has been entrusted with private services.
