Harold McIntyre

Harold served in the U.S. Army during WWII where he fought in the Battle of the Bulge with the 639th Anti-aircraft Artillery Automatic Weapons Battalion.

After military service, he worked for Curtiss Wright Flight Systems in Caldwell. NJ for 48 years. He was a metallurgical technician and also proudly served as President of International Association of Machinist, Local 704 for 15 years.

When he was not working, Harold always enjoyed a good hunting and fishing expedition, but nothing was more important to him than spending time and celebrating holidays with his family.

Harold is survived by his wife Elizabeth (Mikulak) of Sparta, NJ; daughter Lisa (Meg) of Denver, CO; sons Stephen (Donna) of Bowdoin, ME; Thomas (Mary) of Sparta, James (Karen) of Hopatcong.

Mr. McIntyre is also survived by his grandchildren Thomas Jr., Michael, Katie, and Daniel, along with five great-grandchildren: Stephen III, Maddie, Kenzie, Brady and Mia. Harold is predeceased by grandson Stephen Jr.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 from 10 - 11AM at Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta, NJ. Graveside service and interment will follow at the Oak Ridge Cemetery, 342 Oakridge Ridge Road, Oak Ridge, NJ.
