HAZEL THATCHER, 92 of Sparta, NJ passed away on July 25, 2014. Hazel was born in Sparta, NJ and was a life long resident of Sussex County. For many years she worked in the housekeeping department at Andover Nursing Home. She is predeceased in life by her beloved husbands: Herbert M. Houck and William Thatcher. Hazel is survived by her devoted children: Ginger Wiley, Bruce Houck and Ben Kingsley. She is also survived by her sister Dot Young; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Friends may call Monday, July 28th, from 2-4, 7-9pm at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta, NJ 07871. A funeral service will be held 10:30am Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Sparta Cemetery.
