Helene A. Surowiec

Helene is survived by her beloved husband, Tony Goncalves, and their three dearly loved children Anthony, Angelina, and Christian Goncalves.

She is also survived by her loving father, Stanislaw Surowiec and stepmother Grazyna Surowiec, and was predeceased by her beloved mother, Danuta Surowiec. Helene leaves behind her caring sister Wanda and her husband Guillaume Andreoni, along with their daughters Ava and Olivia, and her dear brother Stanley Surowiec. She also leaves a large, loving extended family of cousins, nieces, and nephews, all of whom adored her deeply and will carry her memory in their hearts forever.

Helene was a radiant light in the lives of everyone she met. Her laughter was contagious, her heart open, and her warmth unmatched. She had a remarkable gift for making people feel instantly welcome—her home was always filled with love, delicious food, and the comforting scent of her signature recipes.

She began her career as a model, gracing the world with her elegance and beauty, but her greatest pride and joy came from being a devoted wife and cherished mother. She poured her heart into her family, creating a home full of lasting memories. Her warm smile, spirit, and compassion touched everyone who had the blessing of knowing her.

Helene’s love lives on through all of us. Her light will never fade. We will love and miss her for eternity.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted under Goble Funeral Home 22 Main St., Sparta, NJ. Memorial mass will be celebrated 10AM Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Our Lady of the Lake Church 294 S. Sparta Ave., Sparta, NJ 07871.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Goncalves Family to support Helene’s three beloved children as they navigate life without their incredible mother.
