Horace Ross, 69, of Stockholm, NJ died at his home, on September 23, 2013. He was born in Franklin, NJ and was a US Army Veteran, worked for the Township of Hardyston and was self-employed before becoming disabled. Horace was the son of the late Elizabeth and George Ross and he is also predeceased by his sisters: Velma Sanders and Audrey Talmadge and brothers: Robert and Kevin Ross. Mr. Ross is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Mary Ann Ross, beloved sons, David Ross of Wantage, Michael Ross of Hamburg and daughter Anna Marie Ross of Stockholm; beloved grandchildren: Ashley, Elizabeth, David Ross and his beloved pet Harley. Devoted brother of: Valerie Reilly, Barbara Rinkel and Uldine Ross all of Stockholm, Marlene Owens and her husband Michael of Vernon; Vance Ross and his wife Nancy, Wayne Ross and his wife Nancy of Stockholm, Durwin Ross and his wife Brenda of Franklin, Edward Ross and his wife Donna of Montague, George Ross and his wife Judy of Tennessee and sister-in-laws: Diane Meiner Ross, of Stockholm and Helen Ross of Ogdensburg. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. A memorial visitation will be held Saturday from 9-10am, September 28, 2013 at Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta, NJ 07871. A memorial service will follow at 10am at the funeral home. Ed an I are so heart broken I dont have any words but He will be missed greatly in our lives. Always laughing if not making me laugh. Alwaya ther for everybody even a stranger he didnt care if they needed help if he couldnt hed fine someone who could. My heart is very broken who will I give cream corn to.
