

Fredon, NJ—James Arthur Dykstra died peacefully at home on Monday, July 24, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was 26. James was born in Newton, NJ to Kenneth and Judith (Spingarn) Dykstra. He previously lived in Stillwater. “King James” as he was affectionately known by his family and friends attended The Clark Center at SCARC. He enjoyed horseback riding at the Helping Horseshoe, as well as swimming, listening to music, and river rides. His favorite events were his many visits to Disney World. Predeceasing James are his maternal Grandparents; Arthur and Jeanne Spingarn. He is survived by his parents; Kenneth and Judith Dykstra of Fredon. Two brothers; Stephen and Paul Dykstra and paternal Grandparents; Douwe and Ymkje Dykstra. Friends and family are invited Friday 2~4 and 7~9 pm to Goble Funeral Home 22 Main Street Sparta, NJ 07871. A 10 am Saturday Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Lake Church 294 Sparta Rd, Sparta, NJ. Interment will follow in Sparta Cemetery.
