Jean Ann Beaton

Jean Ann was born on October 13, 1936, in Suffern, NY as the first child of Edgar and Rose Merrill. She is predeceased by her loving husband Jack R. Beaton and brother Edward L. Merrill. Jean Ann is survived by one sister Shirley Van Koppen, sister-in-law Doris Merrill, nephews Kevin Marinaro and Scott Merrill, nieces Terri Trapp and Tammy Klink, and many close friends who were like family to her.

Jean Ann worked as a purchasing agent for M. Fine & Sons Manufacturing Company in the Empire State Building in New York, NY.

Jean Ann was known best for her love of life, family, and her “children”, three blue merle shelties. She was a natural storyteller, always quick with a smile, and funny story to share.

Visitation will be at Goble Funeral Home 22 Main St., Sparta, NJ on Tuesday, August 23rd from 4:00PM - 7:00PM. Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean Ann’s memory can be donated to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV).
