

Jeff was born November 2nd, 1959 at Fort Dix, NJ, the son of James Joseph Krajicek and Margaret Frances Leahy.
He graduated from Winter Park High School in 1977, then went to the University of Florida, graduating in 1982, earning a bachelor's degree in Political Science.
Jeff enlisted in the United States Army in 1984, and upon completion of Officer Candidate School at Fort Benning, Georgia, in 1985, commissioned as a Second Lieutenant. As an Armor Officer, he served in Germany as a platoon leader, executive officer, and general’s aide. After his promotion to the rank of Captain, Jeff transitioned to Military Intelligence. He then was assigned to Washington D.C., with a background in counterintelligence. Jeff served as a White House social aide during the Bush and Clinton administrations. It was there in the nation’s capital that Jeff met the love of his life, Jane Armstrong. In 2003, Jeff deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Upon his return, Jeff continued to serve in the United States Army Reserve, until his retirement in 2020 at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
Jeff married Jane Armstrong on April 24th, 1993 at Notre Dame Chapel, Trinity College, Washington, D.C. Jane and Jeff shared an unwavering bond for 32 years. They raised four wonderful children: William, Thomas, Caroline, and Audrey.
He had an immeasurable love for his family. He was especially passionate about history, reading, going on roadtrips, and running errands with his wife Jane.
Jeff was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Church in Sparta, NJ.
Jeff was an incredible human being. He was brilliant, witty, and had a heart of gold. He was passionate about what he believed in, and was never afraid to say it. He was a true leader who enjoyed sharing his many life lessons and boundless knowledge with those around him. Jeff took great pride in his children, and adored his soul-mate, Jane. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Remaining to cherish Jeff’s memory are children, William, Thomas, and Audrey; daughter in law; Brittany, brothers, Jim (Karen) and John (Millie) sister, Kerry (John) ; nieces and nephews, Kevin, Steven, James, Robert, Caroline, and Megan.
Preceding Jeff in death are his wife, Jane Krajicek, his daughter, Caroline Elizabeth Krajicek and parents, James and Margaret Krajicek.
Visitation will be held Monday, August 18, 2025 from 4:00PM - 8:00PM at Goble Funeral Home 22 Main St., Sparta, NJ. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00AM, Tuesday, August 19th at Our Lady of the Lake Church 294 S. Sparta Ave., Sparta, NJ with Clergy officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jeff’s memory may be made to the The American Bladder Cancer Society or The American Cancer Society. Envelopes are available and may be sent to Goble Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
