SPARTA- Joan S. McLaughlin nee (Van Wickle) passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Morristown Memorial Hospital. She was born in Newark to John and Janet Van Wickle (Fliege) and was a resident of Sparta.
She was a homemaker. Previously, she was a long time secretary and administration assistant at Citicorp in New York City.
Surviving Joan, is her loving husband of 34 years, Kevin McLaughlin, a devoted daughter; Kelly at home, and sisters; Nancy Duffy of Totowa, Karen Reeves of Haddonfield, and Joan Butler of Basking Ridge. Also surviving are dozens of nieces, nephews and cousins in her extended family.
Friends and family are invited Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM to Goble Funeral Home 22 Main Street, Sparta, NJ 07871. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home, Friday at 10:30 AM.
