John Iaroli

The late John Arthur Iaroli, son of Anne Surgent Iaroli and John "Jack" A. Iaroli as well as brother to Janice laroli Ronner, was born March 16th, 1944, in Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey. John was a veteran before becoming a crane operating engineer for over 40 years in both Local 825 in NJ and Local 14 in NY. During this time, he worked at the restoration of both Ground Zero and The Statue of Liberty's torch. John was an avid boater and raced a Jersey Sea Skiff boat named, "Flower Power". He enjoyed working in his garage, his red Corvette, and the many facets of life on the lake.

He married his beloved wife, Elaine, on October 17th, 1969, and happily welcomed their daughter, Paula, in 1974. John was a devoted husband and father, as well as grandfather to his two grandchildren, Derek and Dana. His memory and spirit will live on forever in them and in his many friends and loved ones.

A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 1 - 3PM at Goble Funeral Home 22 Main St., Sparta, NJ 07871.
