John L. Lacirignola

John was born in Pompton Plains to Joseph and Evelyn Lacirignola on April 24, 1944. He graduated Pompton Lake High School in 1962. He served his country proudly for seven years as a member on the New Jersey National Guard. He went on to earn a degree in electrical engineering from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He worked at Westinghouse Electric Company, Schlinder Elevator Company and Computer Science Corporation during his career.

He was an active volunteer member in Milton Recreation league for many years and went on to be President of the Jefferson Township High School Athletic Association for several years.

He is survived by his wife Kathyrn, daughter Lisa Ahrens with her husband Douglas, daughter Michele Keenan with her husband Robert, son Joseph Lacirignola with his wife Hillary, and son John Lacirignola with his wife Melissa. He has 9 grandchildren – Danielle, Dylan, Weston, Sydney, Joseph, Jordan, Joshua, Jacob, and Zypora.

Visitation will be held at Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Sparta, NJ 07871, on Friday, November 28, 2025, from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm.

Funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, 294 S Sparta Ave, Sparta, NJ 07871, on Saturday, November 29th at 9:30AM.

A graveside service will follow at Sparta Presbyterian Methodist Cemetery, 32 Main St, Sparta, NJ 07871.
