Joseph V. Christino, 84, of Sparta, NJ passed away suddenly on May 4, 2015. Joe was born in Utica, NY, lived in Long Island and upstate New York before moving to Sparta in 1973. He was a proud member of the United States Army and past President of Green Tree Village Owners Association. He was a loving and caring guy to everyone he met and had a strong faith in God. He will be missed by many. Joe is predeceased by his beloved wife Frances H. Christino. He is survived by his devoted sons: Joseph J. Christino and his wife Janet of Sparta and Carl V. Christino of Ogdensburg, NJ. Joe is also survived by his stepchildren: Barbara Perrotto, Linda Reynolds and Tom Reynolds and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his name to: Sparta Ambulance Squad, PO Box 246, Sparta, NJ 07871. The Goble Funeral Home, Sparta was in charge of private arrangements.
