Kevin Raymond Adams

Kevin Raymond Adams, 60, of Sparta passed away on January 12, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Kevin was born in East Orange, NJ and was a resident of Sparta for 29 years. He graduated Fairfield University with a bachelor’s degree in business and received his master’s degree in finance from Rutgers University. Kevin worked for AFLAC Insurance in Sparta and later on as a self-employed insurance agent. He was a coach for the Sparta Diamonds Softball team, he volunteered as a soccer coach and coached in the Sparta Little League. Kevin was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Church, the Pope John Booster Club and for years he lined the field for football games at Pope John and was an avid Giants and NJ Devils fan. He is survived by his mother Pat Adams; his beloved wife of 34 years; Mary Ellen Carmichael Adams; devoted father of Sean P. Adams and his wife Ann; Kevin M. Adams, Daniel J. Adams and his wife Becky; Patricia K. Adams; Timothy E. Adams and Mary J. Adams; Loving grandfather of Margaret and Harrison and brother of Timothy and Brian Adams. Friends may call Thursday, January 15, 2015 from 2-4, 7-9pm at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta, NJ 07871. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30am Friday at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 294 Sparta Ave., Sparta, NJ. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ.
