Kevin Hannon

Kevin R. Hannon of Sparta, NJ passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2020. Kevin was born in Lawrence, MA on January 30, 1966. He attended Central Catholic High School and the University of Vermont. Kevin then graduated from Fordham University with his MBA in 1996. He lived in NYC, Hoboken, and settled in Sparta where he lived for 20 years.

Kevin spent his career in the finance industry, most recently as Sr. Managing Director at Blackstone Group in New York City. Kevin had tremendous Intellectual curiosity and knew a lot about different subjects. He loved to read, hike in the woods with his dogs, and travel. His main focus was on history and technology. The highlight of his summer was entertaining his family from New England, boating and swimming on Lake Mohawk.

His greatest joy was spending time with his sons and family. His favorite memory is hiking the West Highland Way in Scotland trip with Aiden and the Boy Scouts Troop 150 In 2015.

Kevin is survived by his beloved Wife, Susan Hannon, their loving children Aiden and Sean and his beloved golden doodle, Lulu. He also leaves behind his parents Maryann and John of Salisbury Beach, Mass and Seabrook, NH, Sister Kara and brother in law Michael Costello of Auburn, N.H., brothers John Hannon and sister in law Heidi from Haverhill, MA and Brian and sister in law Kathleen of Braintree, MA, father in law, Walter G. Gilligan of Wharton, NJ, Carolyn and Brian Quinn of Washington Twp. NJ and Amanda and Walter Gilligan of Auburn, VA. Kevin is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.

Kevin is predeceased by his mother-in-law, Patricia A. Gilligan, Kelly, his golden doodle and Sammie, his rescue labradoodle.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted under Goble Funeral Home 22 Main St., Sparta, NJ 07871. Services are being held privately at this time.
