

Kimberly Ann Roenicke, 35, of Sparta, passed away on December 31, 2010. Kimberly was born in Saddlebrook, NJ and lived most of her life in Sparta. She was a 1993 graduate of Sparta High School. Kim graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1997 and a Masters of Physical Therapy in 1998. She started her career at DC General before moving to Washington Hospital Center, both in the Nation's Capitol. After 4 years, Kim moved on to Inova Rehabilitation Center at Mount Vernon Hospital in Virginia and Georgetown University Hospital as she explored the idea of joining the ranks of traveling Physical Therapy. During her time with the Cross Country TravCorps, Kim traveled to Baltimore, Florida, Chicago, California and Hawaii, bringing her professionalism and high standards for clinical excellence to many different settings. Kim was a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Kim will be remembered for her dedication to her patients, her commitment to helping others and phenomenal attention to detail in providing them the best possible care. Her passing is a great loss for the Physical Therapy community Kimberly is survived by her beloved parents Carolee (nee Owens) Roenicke and Kenneth R. Roenicke; devoted sister Nadine Centineo and her husband Brad and her devoted brother Andrew. She is also survived by her nephew Grant Centineo; cousins Monique and Brendan Owens and other numerous friends and relatives. Friends may call Wednesday, January 5, 2011 from 2-4, 7-9pm at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta, NJ 07871. A funeral service will be held at 11am Thursday at the funeral home.
