Lauren Herd

A devoted wife, loving mother, and a doting grandmother, Lauren brought warmth and light to all who knew her. She had a unique flair for life, a generous spirit, and a kind heart that touched everyone she met.

Known for her goofy sense of humor, Lauren never missed a chance to make others smile. She loved to shower those she cared about with thoughtful gifts—always going out of her way to make people feel special and seen.

Lauren loved her children and family fiercely. Her love was unwavering and selfless. Whether through her comforting presence, silly jokes, or endless support, she made sure the people she loved always knew just how deeply she cared.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, Thomas Herd; her children Chelsea (Chris), Timothy (Lena), Stephanie (William), and Thomas (Valerie); and her cherished grandchildren, Minette and Molly.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Visitation for Lauren will be held Monday, July 28, 2025 from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Sparta, NJ 07871. A prayer service will occur Tuesday, July 29th at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow at Sparta Presbyterian Methodist Cemetery, 32 Main St, Sparta, NJ 07871.
