Lynda A Mohlenhoff

Lake Hopatcong, NJ- Lynda A. (Posivak) Mohlenhoff, 45 year old, went home to the Lord at her home on Monday, July 3, 2017 surrounded by her loving husband, Brian, her two sons and family. Lynda was born in Quakertown, PA to Francis and Margaret Posivak. She resided in the Lake Hopatcong section of Jefferson Township for the past 13 years, previously residing in Bedminster and Pennsylvania. She was a Math teacher at Jefferson Township High School before choosing to stay at home to raise her sons. Lynda was very active in the Parent Teacher Organization of her son’s schools and enjoyed volunteering as class Mom participating in as many school activities as she could. Lynda loved spending quality time with her family at their beach home and on the beach on Long Beach Island. She will be sadly missed. Surviving Lynda is her beloved husband of 18 years, Brian J. Mohlenhoff of Lake Hopatcong, her sons; Tyler (12) and Andrew (9). Her parents; Francis and Margaret Posivak of Coopersburg, PA. Also survived by Laura Mohlenhoff of Sparta, Bhupesh, Sarah (Mohlenhoff), Simon and Madeline Joshi of Lake Hopatcong and Eric Mohlenhoff of Rockaway. Family and friends are invited 1-3pm and 6-8pm Sunday July 9 to Goble Funeral Home 22 Main Street Sparta, NJ 07871. A 10am Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Monday at St. Kateri Tekakwitha RC Church 427 Stanhope-Sparta Rd Sparta, followed by interment in Sparta Cemetery.
