Mae K. Benedetto

Mae K. Benedetto, 88, of Wayne, NJ, passed away on March 23, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Hardyston Township, NJ and lived most of her life there and in Stockholm, NJ. Mae worked as a waitress at Jorgensen’s Inn in Stockholm, NJ before retiring as a homemaker. Mae is predeceased in life by her loving husband Angelo W. Benedetto; sister Grace Losey, brother Howard Ross, daughter-in-law Florence Benedetto and grandson Joseph Benedetto Jr. She is survived by her devoted sons: Joseph A. Benedetto of Franklin, NJ; Robert Benedetto and Carol Marker of Oakland, NJ; Ron Benedetto and fiancée Sandra Scotti of Stockholm, NJ; sister of Marge, Rosie, Lucy, Pat, Helen and Joyce; grandmother of Amy Hocko and her husband Ron of Sussex, NJ and Kim Benedetto and her fiancée John Kozeradsky of Franklin, NJ; great grandmother of Kylie and Makayla Hocko of Sussex, NJ. Friends and relatives are invited to celebrate Mae’s life from 2-4, 7-9pm on Monday, March 27, 2017 at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St, Sparta, NJ 07871. A funeral service will be held 12noon Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Thomas of Aquin Cemetery in Ogdensburg, NJ. In lieu of flowers the family will accept donations for expenses.
