Marco Bisoglio

Marco was born in the quaint village of Lu, Italy on March 8, 1929. Marco, from a young age, worked on his family’s farm, nurturing his passion for gardening and caring for animals. He met and married the love of his life, Nella, in his hometown. After Nella left Italy for the United States, he joined her a year later, building their home in New Jersey. There, he owned and ran his contractor business, mainly devoting his craft to Catholic schools and churches.

After retiring from his contracting business, he joined Camp Auxilium, a Catholic preschool and summer camp, as a groundskeeper, for about thirty years. He spread his joy for life with everyone he encountered, including the many children who attended and lovingly called him “Nonno.” In his spare time, Marco nursed his beautiful garden, made household repairs, collected tools, and assisted others in any way he could. Marco will always be remembered for his fun and playful nature, his selflessness, and unwavering love for his family.

Marco is lovingly remembered by his loving wife, Nella Bisoglio; his children George Bisoglio (Barbara), Roberto Bisoglio (Jeannie); and Elise Nestico (Michael); his grandchildren Derek and Arielle Bisoglio, Tara and Nikki Bisoglio, Alessia Alkhoury, Andréa and Massimo Nestico; his sister Liliana Bisoglio; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Maria and Luigi, his sister Irma, his son Roberto Bisoglio, and his loving wife, Nella Bisoglio, who found her eternal home, the day before on February 2, 2025.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025 from 4PM - 8PM at Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Sparta, NJ 07871. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 8th at 12PM at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, 294 South Sparta Ave, Sparta, NJ.
