Martin Davis

Martin Davis, 76, of Oak Ridge, NJ passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on March 27, 2010. Martin was born in Paterson, NJ and lived in Oak Ridge since 1986. He was a proud US Army Veteran and a contributor to disabled veteran associations. He was a avid NASCAR fan and a member of the Good Sams Club, an RV travelling club. Martin was predeceased in life by his beloved wife Florence “Sue” Davis and his daughter the late Elizabeth Thompson. He is survived by his devoted children Marion McGinnis and her husband David; Butch Davis and his wife Kathy; Joan Hosking; Brenda Daigle and her husband Robert; Kelly Morgen and her husband Armin, and Emma Santore and her husband Jami. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren Jamie Lee Thompson, Marty and Richard McGinnis, Bailey Davis, Buck and Brett Hosking, Stephen Daigle, Armin, Marcus and Mason Morgen, and Brian and Olivia Santore and many great grandchildren. Friends may call Monday, March 29th, 2010 from 2-4, 7-9pm at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta, NJ. A funeral service will be held at 11am Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to a disabled veteran charity of your choice.
