Mary E. Tanner

Mary E. Tanner, 91, of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away on November 13, 2019 at Bridgeway Care Center, Bridgeway, NJ. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and lived in Florida and Middlesex, NJ before moving to Bridgewater 10 years ago. Mary retired from AT&T doing network communications where she was able to travel extensively to 13 countries. She volunteered in the Women’s Resource Center in Somerset County, NJ for many years. Mary loved the Arts and Broadway shows in NYC where she frequented. Mary is predeceased by her beloved daughter Pamela Tanner and son Mark Tanner. She is survived by her devoted children: David Tanner, Miriam Hinton, William Tanner, and James Tanner and his wife Jackie. She is also survived by her sisters: Polly Rohde and Ginny Schneeman and brother Joseph Witschger, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held privately under the direction of the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St, Sparta, NJ 07871.
