Mr. Antonelli was truly an inspiring teacher. He had such a genuine appreciation for great literature and the power of the written word. He opened us all up to worlds well beyond the confines of our little town and he encouraged so many of us to explore, not only new books and poems, but new avenues in our personal lives and futures. I will always be grateful to him for teaching me the importance of coherence in writing. It served me well throughout my professional career, particularly as an expert witness in malpractice cases. Thanks in large part to Mr. Antonelli, the lessons he taught me in High School enabled me to translate technical, medical terms into prose that the average person could understand. He was truly one of the most important and compelling people to influence my life. May he rest in peace and may his family be comforted in knowing that he was an absolutely wonderful teacher and a compassionate human being.

Mr. Antonella was my teacher in the early 70’s and was always kind, friendly , and a great teacher with a great sense of humor. When I was home with mononucleosis, he came to my house on highland avenue to bring me my schoolwork. My deepest sympathies to the family. Best wishes,
