I remember Michael and his beautiful family from his high school attendance with my sons Nicholas and Stevyn.  The Pompelio family sends their sincere condolences.

Sending heartfelt condolences to Robert, Daniel and the whole Fioretti family.    Although I hadn’t seen Mike in a while I will always remember him for the time we spent together playing sports in high school, and how happy, positive and energetic he always was.  

Rick, Mary and family, My heart is heavy with sympathy for your loss. I can’t imagine what you must be going through, but I want to express my condolences.

I am so deeply sorry to hear of Michael’s passing. He always brought a smile to my face and we always would share a laugh! Everytime. I will be praying that you find peace and comfort in the memories he left behind.  My deepest sympathy.

Michael always felt like a brother to me, even before we became brothers. He had that comfort to me. If you heard Michael laugh you sure as heck were laughing with him, whether it be from what he said or just the fact his smile lit you up. His humor and kindness will never fade from my memory. Tough time or good time, I was always happy to see him.

Love you Michael. Hope to see you again.

Mike became part of our family since that day in 1998 when he and his band of brothers welcomed us into Sparta, helped us moved in and made us feel at home in our new community.  Since that day he became a son to us and a very dear friend who shared many joyous and memorable events with us from high school baseball and football to holiday gatherings to weddings.   His absence will leave an everlasting and enormous void in our life.   The warm memories of Mike will lighten our sorrow for all of us that love Mike.  To Mary and Rick and the Fioretti family know that even though no words can truly comfort you in these difficult times, please take some comfort that caring thoughts are very much with you. Right before our entrance to Rob and Natalie’s wedding I was telling Mike how nervous I was about the speech I spent 7 months preparing. Mike says he didn’t write anything down and is just going to wing it. So he does and has the entire room laughing with a funny yet heartwarming speech. No one escaped his charm or that infectious laugh of his.  Mike lit a flame in the lives of everyone he met, one that will shine  forever.

Michael was one of a kind.  He had an incredible magnetism that was evident from the moment you met him. You don't experience many like him and I'm blessed to have spent a lot of time with him growing up (playing high school sports, delivering pizza, Yankee playoff games, just driving around). He's part of and responsible for many of my favorite life memories. When I think of Michael, I'll always think about his laugh. He was always laughing and trying to make you laugh (and he was awesome at it). All of our love to the Fioretti family. 

Finding the right words in times like these is always a challenge. It's a rarity in today's world to have friends from your childhood from the old neighborhood, Tyler Park, who remain close into adulthood. Michael was not just an amazing friend but someone who had the gift of bringing a smile to your face effortlessly. The memories I hold of our time together are etched in my heart and will never fade. The weight of grief is heavy knowing he left us far too soon.

Mike was always smiling and had an infectious way of making everyone around him that much happier. He was a true friend.

Mikey, where do I begin? To say that you’ll be missed is a tremendous understatement. To anybody who had the pleasure of knowing you in your life, they should consider themselves lucky. You were more than just family to me, you were a dear friend. You would do anything for your friends because that’s just how you lived. Everyday from here on will be a little harder for everyone you crossed paths with  in your life. You impacted so many people in ways that not many can. I will miss you immensely brother.

You were my brother and I’ll never forget you. 

I am so thankful and appreciative for the countless memories with Mike and the TP Crew. From growing up at Tyler Park together to the Cabin days and beyond, he always had that beaming smile and infectious laugh. He was the best of us in so many ways, and anyone who knew Mike would say the same. Until we meet again, brother- thank you for being such a good friend for so many years. My thoughts and prayers are with you for your loss . I met Mike 3 years ago through my daughter , he had been a long time friend of hers , we immediately connected and he became my plumber and friend . I will truly miss Mike and his infectious smile and great personality.  Rest in peace Mike !
