Born in Bogota, NJ, on June 15, 1967, Mike was the first grandchild. His family moved to Sparta, New Jersey, in the mid-1970s. Mike, who was affectionately known as "Sully" by his classmates, graduated from Sparta High School in 1986. He went on to attend the University of New Hampshire, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Following graduation in 1990, he joined the family business in Cedar Knolls, NJ, as a computer engineer and software designer. Mike dedicated his life to the success of Automated Wireless Environments, designing and improving the onboard wireless technology, and later becoming the owner and President of AWE.
Mike took tremendous pride in his membership and standing with the Blue Knights IX. He joined in 2018, and was the Road Lieutenant and an Executive member. He loved the charity rides and volunteering for fundraising events the most. Mike was able to enjoy his last ride with BKNJIX on July 11, 2026.
