Patricia M. Midgley

Patricia M. Midgley, 77, of Sparta passed away at home on June 16, 2010. Patricia was born in Sugar Notch, PA and lived in Staten Island for many years before moving to Sparta in 1977. She was a longtime member of the Sparta Women’s Club. Patricia worked as a supervisor for the New York Telephone Co for many years and then raised a family. She returned to work after that as an office manager for a local insurance company. She is survived by her beloved husband Robert J. Midgley; devoted children Clare Midgley of Newton, MA; Richard Midgley of Hopatcong, NJ; and Jean Midgley of CA. Patricia is also survived by her sister Rosemary Deraska of Hilton Head, SC and grandchildren Aisling R. Clifford of Newton, MA and Aidan M. Conway of CA. Friends may call Monday, June 21, 2010 from 2-4, 7-9pm at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta, NJ. A funeral mass will be held at 9:30am Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at St. Joseph’s Church, 17 Elm St., Newton. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph’s Mausoleum, Newton.
