Patricia A. Thoens

Patricia A. Thoens, 71, of Ledgewood, NJ, passed away at home on March 25, 2010. Patricia was born in Maspeth, NY and lived in Hillsdale, NJ for 34 years before moving to Ledgewood. She was a graduate of Aquinas High School in the Bronx, NY. Patricia was a longtime member of Lions International and was past President of the Succasunna Lions Club, a lifetime member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Hillsdale Ambulance Squad and a

longtime volunteer at St. Clare’s Hospital in Dover, NJ. Patricia is predeceased by her beloved husband William H. Thoens Sr. She is survived by her devoted daughter Doreen McGill and her husband Matthew; devoted son Dr. William H. Thoens and his wife Susan and beloved son Roger J. Thoens. She is the beloved NaNa of Kaitlyn and Kevin McGill and Nichole and Jessica Thoens. Friends may call Sunday, March 28th, from 2-4, 7-9pm at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta. A funeral mass will be held at 10am Monday at Our Lady of the Lake Church, Sparta, NJ. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla, NY.
