A proud Union member for 15 years, he loved his work and many of the people he met along the way. He was beyond proud to have his son follow in his footsteps.
A New Yorker through and through — Just a kid from Brooklyn was how he would often refer to himself. He loved his yearly holiday trips to Peter Luger’s steakhouse and Randazzo’s Clam Bar. Bob was an avid golfer and spent many a summer day on the greens with friends. He enjoyed woodworking and toying around in his garage. He started each day with the morning paper and enjoyed his afternoon socializing over coffee or a beer with his many friends he’s made along the way.
He will be remembered for his thoughtful and deep conversations that ran the gamut from politics to sports, music, the old neighborhood, history, science and life in general. Bob's stories and sayings were some of the best. He was a man known for his wisdom, kind personality and humility.
