Robert Charles Haase

Robert Charles Haase, 80, of Sparta, NJ passed away on December 23, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. Robert was born in Hackensack, NJ; moved to Sparta in 1945; was a graduate of Newton High School, Class of 1950, and was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Haase was the owner and operator of Sparta Electric Supply from 1962 to 1987. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed bird watching. Robert is survived by his former wife Carole Haase; devoted son, William D. Haase of Andover; daughter Susan C. Cobaugh of Shelton, CT and loving grandson Bryan Cobaugh of Shelton, CT. Friends may call Sunday, December 30th from 7-9PM at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta, NJ. A funeral service will be held at 10am Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Sparta Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to: Compassionate Care Hospice Foundation, 532 Lafayette Rd., Sparta, NJ 07871.
