Sally S. Carlson

Born in Orange NJ to Marian and William Sproul, she graduated from the Beard School, attended Wells College, then Upsala College, graduating with a BA in sociology. She moved to Florham Park after marrying her loving husband Carl and raised her family there. Sally taught school in the Florham Park school system and became a realtor there as well. Her biggest passion was little league baseball and she never missed a beat.

In 1997 she moved to Sparta to be close to her grandchildren and was always present at all sporting events.

She loved the Dallas Cowboys and followed UConn women’s basketball.

Active for years in Sparta as a realtor Sally was always the “agent on duty”. Her real estate passion was on another level.

Sally was predeceased by her loving husband Carl who passed in 2010. She is survived by her daughter Cindy(Bill) of Sparta, her son Peter (Babette) Brentwood, TN and 4 grandchildren Billy (Erin), Matt(Caitlin), Logan and Austin. She recently welcomed her first great grandchild Jane Marie. She is also survived by her dearest friend, Donna Sharp.

A memorial visitation for Sally will be held Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Sparta, NJ 07871.
