Terence Fitzpatrick, 73 of Jefferson, NJ, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 10, 2026; leaving behind a legacy of love, music, and cherished family memories. He was the beloved son of the late Edward and Corinne Fitzpatrick.
A man of simple pleasures and deep curiosity, Terence found great joy in the world around him. He loved the quiet reflection of long walks and the freedom of riding his bike. He held a deep passion for history, especially in the rich heritage, stories, and history of Ireland; which he loved learning about and sharing with others. Music was another great comfort in his life, and he spent many peaceful moments playing his guitar.
Terence was a devoted son, a caring brother, proud godfather and amazing uncle. He is survived by his sisters and brothers; Kathleen and husband Larry Brex, Edward, Timothy and wife Lori, Mary Ellen and husband Robert Dziobkowski, and Matthew and wife Patti. His godsons Brian Fitzpatrick (best buddy) , Mark Mammano, and Luc Belan. He also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and was a friend to countless others.
Terence’s kindness, warmth, helpfulness and dedication to his family will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He now joins his parents in eternal rest.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitation for Terence on Thursday, September 17th from 3PM – 8PM at Goble Funeral Home 22 Main St., Sparta, NJ 07871 with a service beginning at 7:30PM.
A final viewing will take place 9:30AM – 10:30AM Friday, September 18th with interment following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery 10 West Stevens Ave., Hawthorne, NY 10532 at 1PM.
