Timothy- Joseph Boyle Metzger “Timmy” 26, was killed January 19, 2011 in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. Timmy was born in Paterson, NJ and lived in Jefferson Twp., before moving to St. Thomas 14 months ago. He was a 2002 graduate of Jefferson Twp High School and a 2007 graduate of Salisbury University with a BS in History. He played football for Salisbury University from 2002-2007. Timmy coached football and lacrosse for Parkside High School in Maryland before moving to St. Thomas. Timmy was the General Manager of the Big Kahuna Rum Shack Bar and Grill in St. Thomas. Timmy is predeceased by his beloved father Robert H. Metzger. He is survived by his devoted mother Bonnie Metzger; sister, Elizabeth Ferris and brothers “Rocky” and Chad. Friends may call Friday, January 28, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Goble Funeral Home 22 Main Street, Sparta, NJ. A funeral service will be held at 3 pm Friday at the funeral home.
