Vera Sutton, 97, of Sparta, passed away at Andover Subacute and Rehabilitation center on October 10, 2013. Vera was born and lived her whole life in Sparta. She worked for the Sparta Board of Education in the school cafeteria for many years. Vera was a member of the Andover Senior Citizens. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Lewis Sutton and her brothers; Kenneth, Walter, James and Francis Mills. : Vera is survived by 3 sisters: Ruth Wightman, Adelaide Mills, Angeline Crissey and brother Calvin Mills. She is also survived by her nephew Richard Crissey and his wife Janice; and niece Susan Sutton and many other nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at 11am at Sparta Cemetery.
