Vito F. Leto

SPARTA- Vito F. Leto went home to the Lord on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 in Newton, NJ. He was 78 years old. Vito was born in New York to Salvatore and Filomena (DiSalvo) Leto. He resided in Sparta for the past 36 years, living previously in Staten Island, NY. Vito was employed as a shareholder relations specialist with GPU of Parsippany, NJ for 42

years, retiring in 1994. He was a communicant of Our Lady of the Lake RC Church, Sparta, a 3rd degree member of the Marquette Council 588 Knights of Columbus, and held membership in the Lake Mohawk Country Club. Vito was an avid model train collector and valued spending quality time with his family. He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Theresa in 2003. Surviving him are two daughters; Theresa Marion and her husband Gary, and Suzanne Locke and husband Kevin. Two sons; Michael Leto and wife Gloria, and Daniel Leto and wife Pam. 5 adored grandchildren; Emily, Gregory, Kailyn, Ian, and Alyssa. A brother; Salvatore Leto and his wife Marjorie, and a sister; Ann Marie Leto. Family and friends are invited Friday 2-4 7-9 pm to Goble Funeral Home 22 Main Street Sparta, NJ 07871. A 10 am Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Lake RC Church, Sparta, followed by interment in Sparta Cemetery.
