Much loved husband of Marjorie Heimbuch and her family Anne Moore and John D. Moore, of London, England. Loving husband of the late Jocelyn Heimbuch. Devoted father of Edmund P. Heimbuch, Jane R. Whetzel, Paul J. Heimbuch and Katherine M. Hammel. He loved and enjoyed his role as grandfather to David, Katharine, Jaime, Anna, Elizabeth, Rebecca and Will. Bill served in the US Navy for 3 years during WWll in Hawaii as a Radar Specialist. He was awarded a degree as an Electrical Engineer by NJIT and a Computer Science Degree by the University of Maryland. His career as a Senior Software Engineering Specialist took him to serve his country in many different locations, at home and abroad, he always found great satisfaction in his accomplishments. After many years of challenging work and different homes he returned to NJ where he grew up. In retirement he found joy in continuing his religious life as an usher in church, and a Mediator, CDRC, in the NJ court system and when possible singing with the High Point Harmonizers. Bill had a life of accomplishment and enjoyed solitude and music and his ability to contemplate the world scene. Friends may call Monday, May 12, 2014 from 2-4, 7-9pm at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta, NJ 07871. A funeral mass will be held 10am Tuesday at St. Jude The Apostle Church, 4-24 Beaver Run Rd., Hamburg, NJ 07419. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, N. Arlington, NJ.
