Newton, NJ – William Howard Tefft went home to the Lord, on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at his residence in Bristol Glen. He was 88. William was born in Nashua, Iowa to Howard and Iva Tefft. He served his country proud during WW II in the U.S. Navy. He has resided in Newton since 2002, and prior to his retirement worked in the banking industry at Continental Bank in Chicago, Ill. Surviving him is his loving wife of 11 years, Lucille, his son; David E. Tefft of Gurnee, IL and his daughter: Eileen Jean Tefft, of Cardiff by Sea, CA, A 2:00 pm memorial service will be celebrated on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at the Bristol Glen Chapel, Newton, NJ.
