SPARTA – ZAIDA LUIZ (Correa) passed into eternal life on Thursday, July 8, 2010, at her residence. She was born in Naguabo, Puerto Rico to Diego and Candida (Celis) Correa. She resided in Ogdensburg prior to her residence the past 16 years in Sparta.
Mrs. Luiz was a communicant of St. Thomas of Aquin RC Church in Ogdensburg, and a member of the Sparta Seniors. She was employed for 30 years, as a circulation department supervisor with HL Lindquist Stamps Magazine, New York City retiring in 1986.
Predeceasing her was her husband Arnaldo Luiz. She is survived by a daughter; Carmen and her husband James Rohde of Ogdensburg, two grandsons; Matthew and Christian, and two brothers; Raphael and Diego Correa of Puerto Rico. Friends and family are invited Sunday 2~4 & 6~8pm to Goble Funeral Home 22 Main Street Sparta, NJ 07871. A funeral liturgy will be held Monday 9:30 AM at St. Thomas of Aquin RC Church, Ogdensburg, followed by interment in the church cemetery.
