

Alma was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Wilfred Meier, Mildred Meier, Mary Pfuhl, Marcy O’Brien, and Adelaine Moe; her husbands Stanley Ferrell and James Schultz; her daughter Ann Marie Butigan; her son Roy (Ed) Ferrell and foster daughter LaVerne Riccardo; daughter-in-law Karen Ferrell; and grandsons Jeff Butigan and Ian Ferrell.
She is survived by her daughter Kay Lynn Labish (James), her son Patrick Ferrell (Rhonda), and many who loved her dearly. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren Deanna, Darren, Amy, Kevin, Joe, Nikki, Carson, Brandon, and Sarah; foster grandchildren Tammy and Josie; twelve great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Alma’s life was full of joy, warmth, and generosity. She lived in Spokane Valley, Priest River, Idaho, and later returned to Spokane. She loved people, dancing, bingo, gardening, sewing, traveling, and especially time spent with family and friends. Music was a special joy to her, and her caring heart touched everyone she met.
She will be remembered as a wonderful mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, daughter, and friend. Alma loved her family deeply and was in turn loved greatly by them. Her laughter, kindness, and presence will be dearly missed but forever cherished.
