Anitra Dawn (Whelan) Lorenz-known by family and friends as "Dawn" entered into Heaven June 11, 2011 after a lengthy illness of COPD. Born on October 25, 1936. She was an awesome wife, mother, grandmother and best friend. Preceded in death by Richard T. Whelan. Survived by husband Raymond Lorenz; daughters Vicki Howell, Brenda (John) Trapp, and Terri Edelman; and her favorite granddaughter Marie Dawn Edelman. A visitation will be held Friday June 17, from 4:00-8:00 PM at Thornhill Valley Chapel 1400 S. Pines Rd. Spokane Valley, WA 99206.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Chapel, 17825 East Trent Avenue, Spokane Valley, WA with interment immediately following at St. Joseph Cemetery
