Ardis Arlene Tangen was born August 18, 1936, in Minot, North Dakota. She was one of nine children in her family. Ardis married Richard Bailey in 1953. They had 5 children, Bonita Jo, Richard, Patricia, Sheryl and Melissa. Her husband Richard passed away in 1967.
Ardis remarried in 1968 to Ronald Tangen. They had 2 children, Rona and Stacy. Ronald passed away in 1987.
In 1990 Ardis moved to Spokane Valley, Washington and settled there until she passed away peacefully on August 23, 2023. She was surrounded by her children and several grandchildren.
Ardis is proceeded in death by her husbands, Richard and Ronald, her son Richard Bailey, and her daughters Melissa Bailey, Patricia Bailey, and Sheryl Fleury. She is survived by her daughters, Bonita Jo Bailey, Rona Rowley, and Stacy Lucas, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
