Arthur Shane Reickard

1955-2010

Arthur Shane Reickard, 55, Spokane, Washington formerly of Cameron, Missouri passed away on December 29, 2010. Shane was born on February 24, 1955 in Kansas City, Missouri to Arthur and Doris Jean (Stephenson) Reickard. Shane was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Reickard and brother, Mark Reickard. He grew up and went to school in Cameron, Missouri where he proudly played football and wrestled for the Dragons. At age 18, he left home to attend college in Springfield, Missouri, where he met his first wife, Susan F. (Hunt) Eitzen, Raytown, MO and mother of his two eldest sons. He lived the last 21 years with his wife, Judy in Spokane, Washington and worked for 13 years for Coca Cola Enterprise. Survivors: Wife, Judy D. (Wards) Reickard, of the home; 4 sons, Richard Shane and wife, Karin Reickard, Higginsville, MO, Christopher Edward and wife, Missy Reickard, Blue Springs, MO, Joseph Ryan Noel and Jeffery Dale Noel, Spokane, WA; daughter, Alyssa Nicole Reickard, Boonville, MO; mother, Doris Reickard, Cameron; brother, Arnold and wife, Charlotte Reickard, Cameron; sister, Anna and husband, Dale Wright, Cameron; sister-in-law, Barbara Cordenier, Cameron; daughters-in-law, Sara Cram, Heidi Opstrup, Jennifer Higgins, all of Spokane, WA. He leaves behind 8 grandchildren, Quentin, Joey, Hayley, Mercedes, Gabe, Brody, Chevy and Cheyenne; several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Wednesday, January 5, 2011 from 9:00 – 11:00 A.M. at Thornhill Valley Chapel 1400 S. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley, WA, followed by services in the Chapel. Interment at Graceland Memorial Cemetery, Cameron, Missouri.
