

Betty Fuher passed away at age 87 on March 28, 2022 after a year-long battle with cancer. Betty was born on November 21, 1934 in Corvallis, OR to Arthur and Linnie Rice. After several moves, the family settled in Liberty Lake, WA. Betty graduated from Central Valley High School in 1953. Soon after she married her husband of 45 years, Stanley Fuher. They raised 3 sons and lost 1 daughter (Darlene) at birth. The family enjoyed a life of camping, fishing, and snowmobiling. They eventually moved back to Liberty Lake and built their dream home. She was employed by Pay n Save/Rite Aid as the pharmacy bookkeeper for several years. Survived by her children: Ken Fuher (Connie), Lowell Fuher (Laura), Mark Fuher (Missy), six grandchildren, multiple great-grandchildren, her sister Laura Fessler and her dog Taboo. Preceded in death by her parents, brothers Delbert and Bob and her husband Stan. The family would like to thank her dear friend Susie, Hospice of Spokane and Sunshine Gardens for their compassionate care. A celebration of life will be held later this summer.
