

She is the beloved sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Betty passed away at Deaconess Medical Center with her children at her bedside. Betty was born and raised in Papillion, NB. She graduated from South St. Paul High School in Minnesota and worked as an executive secretary and bookkeeper in banking, construction and architecture. Betty’s passions were first and foremost spending time with her children and grandchildren, gardening, crocheting, crafts and baking. She was an avid Mariner's follower and Edgar Martinez’ number one fan.
Betty is survived by her five children: Sandi Atwood (Fred Pecht), Bob Gore (Genie), Patti Gore, Carla Barton (Dale Johnson) and Jeffrey Gore (Mary). Her sister, Norma Rosler; her grandchildren, April, Jason, Andrea, Adam, Dustin, Brandon, Tyler, Carsen, Jacquelyn and Julia; and nine great-grandchildren also survive her. Betty was preceded in death by her sister, Delores Pierce; her granddaughter, Heather Overman and her grandson, Robert Gore, Jr.
A celebration of Betty’s life will be held Tuesday, March 30, 2010, 11:00 A.M. at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley, WA. The family requests memorial contributions be made in Betty’s name to the American Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.org).
The family would like to give special thanks for the loving attention provided to their mother by the caregivers at Sunshine Gardens, the staff at Deaconess Medical Center and especially Dr. Dan Coulston and his colleagues
