(Age 88)
Just a month before celebrating her 89th birthday, Betty Lou Wold passed away peacefully with her family by her side on November 8, 2017. Betty was born December 6, 1928 to Lottie and Burwell Baggarley. She grew up in Spokane, Washington, graduated from West Valley High School, and Kinman Business University. Betty went to work for Old National Bank and eventually Washington Water Power Company. She later became a successful realtor and worked for multiple companies. Betty achieved numerous awards selling real estate and truly enjoyed helping people purchase their perfect home.
Betty first met her future husband, Bud Wold, while attending fourth grade. Little could they have dreamed that one day they would marry. They were married for over 62 years prior to Bud’s passing in 2012.
Betty is survived by her son, Ron Wold, and three daughters, Vicki Howard, Kathy Endicott, and Donna Caesar. Betty and Bud were very proud of their seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was eagerly awaiting the birth of her latest great granddaughter who, unfortunately, was born just five days after Betty’s passing. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Bud; parents Lottie and Burwell Baggarley; three brothers Robert, Donald, and Richard Baggarley; and son-in-law Lee Endicott.
The family wishes to offer their sincere thanks to Dr. Daniel Dionne and staff, Spokane Valley Fire Department, American Medical Response ambulance service, and the doctors and staff at MultiCare Valley Hospital for their loving care of our mother.
Arrangements under the direction of Hazen & Jaeger Valley Funeral Home-Pines, Spokane, WA.
