Beverly Joy Nelson passed away in Spokane, Washington on September 8, 2011. She was born on November 14, 1928 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Theodore and Ella Zellars. Beverly was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved visits to the ocean, working with puzzles of all kinds and collected Betty Boop memorabilia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold M. Nelson in January 1978. She is survived by her brother, Donald Zellars; children, Alan Nelson, Joanne Busby (Carl), David Nelson (Winnie); nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and many loving and caring friends at Brighton Court. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 10:00AM at South Pines Cemetery located on the corner of 32nd Ave and Hwy 27.
