Carol was born on Mar 7th, 1941 in Spokane, Washington.She graduated from Fortuna High School in California

Carol Married Robert Lawson Mauzy and the couple had 4 children together.

Carol enjoyed Bowling, puzzles, crocheting, and a good joke. Her family and friends will always remember her as a kind, hard working person with an upbeat attitude.

Carol is survived by her four children Brian Mauzy, Mark Mauzy, Kimberly Helm, and Jill Gambill as well as numerous cousins, nieces & nephews, and her precious grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, James William Blount (“Daddy”) & Florence Audrey Frisby Blount, siblings Betty Gatten, James Blount (“Sonny”), Florence Adams (“Sister”), and her husband Robert Ryan Smith (Formerly Robert Lawson Mauzy).

Funeral Service is scheduled for 2pm with a viewing from 12:30-1:30 on Saturday Jan 18th, at the LDS church located at 4014 Bowdish Rd, Spokane WA 99206. All are welcome to attend and honor Carol’s life.

The family would like to thank her beloved family members, friends, and hospice workers for staying by her side during her final days.
