Caroline Ann Sharp

Caroline Ann Sharp, 83, of Columbia Falls, Montana, passed away April 8, 2018 in Spokane Valley, Washington. She was born in Lind, Washington on January 21, 1935. Caroline graduated from Lind High School in 1954 and attended one year of Bible College in Gilroy, California. Caroline met her future husband, Carl Richard Sharp, in Colville, Washington and they married on August 23, 1960 in Othello, Washington. Caroline was a housekeeper and professionally cleaned offices and homes in Columbia Falls, Montana while raising four children until retirement. Caroline and her husband were very active in their church. She was involved with the prayer chain and was a lifetime intercessory prayer warrior. She had a passion for baking, cooking and talking on the phone to family and friends. She loved to sew, play the piano, banjo and accordion. She also loved yodeling, earning her the nickname “Grandma Yodel”. She was survived by her husband, Carl, her children Richard Sharp, Steve (and Sharon) Sharp, Linda (and Mike) Rohlinger and Michael (and Lilly) Sharp. Surviving grandchildren are Cody, Jadon and Nathan Sharp, Noah and Sariana Rohlinger and Alyssa, Kailey and Violet Sharp. Surviving siblings are Dorothy Look, Lillian LeRoy, Alvin Erdman, Irene Brownfield, Pauline (and Dick) Stolp, Walter (and Bettie) Erdman, Linda (and Harley) Stewart and sister-in-law Ruth Erdman and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Caroline is preceded in death by her parents, Albert Martin Erdman and Ida (Sauer) Erdman, and brother Robert Erdman. Viewing will be held between 10 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Thornhill Valley Chapel in Spokane Valley, Washington. Interment will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Washington State Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake, Washington. An upcoming Celebration of Life Service will be held at Whitefish Assembly Church, Whitefish, Montana.
