Dearest Cec, Thank you for sharing your loving, caring & generous heart with me and my son and for treating Zak like one of your own. It meant worlds to both of us. Spending a Thanksgiving & Christmas with you and your wonderful family will stay with me forever. Lunches with you at the Olive Garden & PF Changs will be forever cherished in my ❤. I feel blessed to have known you.

When I think of Cece I immediately think of her Christmas tree. I was friends with Jessie, and childhood friends' parents are kind of like the adults in Charlie Brown, offscreen, and not the center of the story. 
I just have small moments and memories. But they have stuck with me for over 30 years, and now that I have a home of my own and a family to care for, I see her in a fresh way.
She had the most beautiful Christmas tree I have ever seen (and have yet to see one more beautiful). Heavily flocked, blue lights, and  perfectly placed in the window. 
She must've been from somewhere else because I was always delighted when she said, "Warshington" and "warsh."
Her home was warm and magical--I loved spending time there. Now that I have a home of my own, I know that it takes a special kind of person to cultivate that kind of life. Seeing so much love shared for her, makes me happy that I had a little piece too. Rest in Peace Cece--you were so very loved.

Grandma, I have been one of the luckiest men on this planet to have you as a grandmother. I used to call on long drives to just talk to you, laugh and tease and solve the worlds problems. For the holidays your home was full of fun, laughs and felt like a Christmas wonderland. Cheering us on during the summers on the lake, and just sitting with us during those breathtaking sunsets. You were always invested in my life, celebrating my accomplishments even those in high school. The Lord called you too soon...  but I am happy that your suffering is over and you get to finally ask Jesus all the questions we've talked about. I love you, and thank you for the blessing you have been to me. Your First Born Grandson- Drew

Dearest Grandma Cece, 

you're finally dancing in the arms of our Savior - the One you taught me to hear in the wind and the trees and running water. May you rest in the peace of the family that has celebrated your reunion; may our sorrow here be brief as we look forward to the day that we - that I - see you again. 

Until then... I'll be walking with you and Ditzy. I'll feed ducks at Country Village. I'll look over my shoulder to see you waving us onward until sunset in the warm wind of Moses Lake. 

I miss you, Grandma. With all the love in the world!

Never a dull moment with Aunty Cec along! We know that as we remember her today she will forever remain in our hearts and minds.  We promise to let her spirit, heart, and joy live on in each of us! We miss you forever and love you always!

My Sweet Aunt Cec's beautiful smile is forever etched in my mind. ♡

When I remember her, I am taken back in time to childhood visits with my family during summertime. It was so fun & Aunt Cec was always so loving & welcoming. I treasure those days having sleepovers in their big basement room with the cousins & running around their big & spacious backyard. 

One specific memory that still makes me laugh is the time when Aunt Cec & my mom took it upon themselves to decorate the apartment of her daughter and new son-in-law. It was done as a surprise for when the newlyweds returned to their new home after their honeymoon.  The sisters were so giddy & laughing all the way. I quickly made mental note to myself not to leave my house key with my mom & her sisters when I got married. HaHa! (Heather & Jim- It was all done in love & I was simply an admiring observer . 😉 ❤ )

We are all so grateful that Uncle Roger & Aunt Cec made the trip to Idaho seven years ago to celebrate my Mom (Cec's big sister) & Dad's 50th wedding anniversary. It was wonderful to see them again & for my husband & children to meet Aunt Cec & Uncle Roger too.  

I always loved seeing the three sisters together.  Aunt Cec was the spunky younger sister who always brought smiles & laughs.  I remember how they posed for a picture, one covering their eyes, another their ears, & the other their mouth referencing the quote, "See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil."  I know that picture is out there somewhere!! 

It is always hardest for those of us left this side of Heaven. She is missed & loved by so many, near and far.  I know Cec would want us all to hold her memory & smile close in our hearts & live life to our fullest.  ♡

I send my sincere condolences & much love &  hugs to Uncle Roger & family. You are in my family's prayers.  I am there in spirit, remembering & celebrating my sweet Aunt.

As a little girl growing up on a farm, Cec carried such beauty and fun. She and Roger would show up in cool outfits, looking all hip. I was in awe watching them. She always shared the biggest smiles and hugs with all 5 of us. Loved being with she and Roger. All my love to Roger and the kids.

Your Mother Cec was a very special lady that we will all miss greatly.  I remember the summers that we would spend with you folks.  Always catching the stinging nettles in the ravine, getting strawberries riding skateboards down the sidewalks, fireworks for 4th of July, and fun times on the boat out on the lake.  Your Mom Cec was always there with a smile on, caring, supporting, healing, and loving everyone in her presence. 

Her time was cut too short, but God must have been really pleased with all of the things she did within her lifetime.  She is singing His praises in Heaven, spending great times with Grandma & Grandpa Hart.  

I will forever cherish your Mother Cec, as I send love to each and every one of you.  From all of the Taylor Ohana here on Kauai, we love you all, we miss you all and send you every bit of love and support at this time.

My auntie Cec was a big part of the first 25 years of life. My parents took us to the McSteen’s regularly as a part of our summer vacations, (which included seeing Grandma and Grandpa Hart who lived close by.) I have many memories hiking in the ravine behind their home, riding bike or taking walks in the neighborhood, and watching my Aunt Cec sing or more like lip sync at the top of her lungs in their living room to the Judds or whatever artist she was loving at the time. I always felt comfortable and loved by Cec.  She was always interested in me and what I had going on in my life. I felt special to her. My mom Terri and Cec were very close for many years and I remember feeling so comforted by their friendship, knowing my mom was enjoying having her sister close. Whenever my mom was struggling, Cec brought a smile to her face, or even made her laugh hysterically to the point of tears at times. I loved watching their bond of friendship in action. 

One memory I have that stands out is when we were visiting when I was 9 years old and my brother John was 1 years old. All of us kids were downstairs watching TV in the basement, John was sitting on the floor and suddenly just fell over. He passed out. Everyone scrambled into action to tell our parents upstairs and they called 911 to get him to the hospital. Three or four ambulances showed up, for what reason I can’t remember. My mom (and maybe my dad?) went with John to the hospital and we stayed home with Cec. I was so scared for John and what might be going on but I remember feeling reassured by my Auntie Cec that he was going to be okay, and I also appreciated feeling supported and loved by my mom’s sister, family, through such a scary event. And John was okay. 

Auntie Cec was full of faith, love and joy. And she infected others with these qualities. She inspired me to live bravely and wholeheartedly. I’m going to miss you Auntie Cec. Thank you for loving me. You live on in my heart.

Auntie Cec will always be a ray of sunshine to me. Our summer time visits will always be remembered with excitement and laughter.  
Her soul glowed with kindness and love constantly.  Cec was a true gift not only to me but all that knew her.  May we find peace and comfort knowing she is flying high in the heavens and dancing away with Grandma and Grandpa!!!

Auntie Cece was a woman knit together with love, grace, beauty, and hope! She always made me feel loved and accepted.  Auntie Cec had a true and faithful friendship with my mom that I admired and craved. She was a wife and mother that always stayed true and faithful through the ups and downs.  Cec was a woman dedicated to her family and she was a rock that never grew weary.  Her faith was an inspiration and I am thankful she invested in my life.  I will never be the same because she was willing to talk about the hard stuff.   Some of my special memories growing up with her were when we would visit and dance in her living room like no one was watching, long talks in her backyard or kitchen, and the many times we opened God's word to find the promises waiting for us.  I have special times treasured in my heart during her visit to Hawaii as well as when she and Heather surprised me at my wedding! She is a woman I admire and love deeply.  I will miss her dearly! I promise to cherish her spirit, passion, and faith.  I love you, Auntie Cece! Until we meet again and dance the golden streets of heaven...Love, Julie 

I never personally met Cecilia, but knowing Jess is like I have.

Jess possesses so much kindness, humbleness, and love, that I can only attribute it to kind, humble and loving parenting, provided by Cecilia.

Cec was a joker and would always make Terri and I laugh.  She could cheer you up no matter how badly you felt.  She was a great comfort to her family but also to her extended family.   This included Terri her middle sister and to me the brother in law.   
She was an amazing faith filled human being and would always see the good in any situation.
May God Bless you Cec and you are making the angels sign and that is a good thing.   Say Hi to Grandma Agnes and Grandpa Bill.
