Chantelle Marie Blessing

Chantelle Marie Blessing went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ, and her community of deceased loved ones on Thanksgiving Morning, November 25, 2021. She was helping to cook for her new family and beloved fiancé, Jeremy, in her new home in Farmersville, LA. She went peacefully, but sadly her life was cut short unexpectedly.

Chantelle loved her family with all of her heart, and her fiancé, Jeremy, had just asked for her hand in marriage. She was so excited to start her new life and new family. They planned to be married September 14, 2022.

In spite of the many tragedies she had gone through in her short life, she had a very strong faith in God.

Chantelle was born January 9, 1979 and she was beautiful; she was feisty, loving and stubborn, and always full of questions. Even as young as 5, she was already asking “but why” about everything, curious to learn anything.

She attended St. Mary’s Catholic School and church with her family. She graduated from Spokane Valley High School and held numerous jobs until she found her forte in sales. She excelled in this field because of not only her gift of gab, but also her big personality and positive energy.

She was tenacious in what she did and believed that attitude was everything. Chantelle had such compassion, and that with her beauty, personality, and charm, everyone noticed when she was in their presence. She was like a tornado when she walked into a room. She was not graceful (much like her father), so everyone knew when she was around. She was a tough cookie but would give you the shirt off her back if needed. Towards the end, she was excited about her engagement and upcoming marriage.

Chantelle was preceded in death by her brothers, Chad Justin Blessing, Nicholas Andrew Blessing, and her father, Donald Harry Blessing, as well as many aunts, uncles, and her grandparents. She is survived by her mother, Janet Kay Blessing, her sister, Tamara Kay Blessing, and her brother, Dustin Cobb.
